Oaks Day is the joyful start to Derby weekend, when the fillies take center stage and the whole city turns out in pink. There's the moving Survivors Parade and the running of the Longines Kentucky Oaks, some of the best racing all weekend. The main race now runs in prime time, so we ease into it with a later brunch and pace you for the big race.
What to Wear: Oaks Fashion
Oaks Day has a signature look all its own: think pink, in honor of "Lilies for the Fillies." Embrace soft blush dresses, bold rose tones and the statement hats the day is famous for. We arrange a private fitting with our local hat designer, who matches a hat to your face, coloring and frame, so it's perfect by race day.
